With the Post series I attempt to explore societal issues and ideas through abstract forms.  I chose the title for the series, Post, as a reflection and commentary on human behavior following an event, whether real or imagined. The incorporation of anatomical forms lends to acknowledgment of the human element as the basis, cause, or precipitating factor.  The anatomical reconfiguration is the development of human identity into an unrecognizable creature or monstrous form.  We are often the monster.  The ideas explored include environmental concerns, current societal movements, and recent political unrest.
